Jeff Tito currently runs his own beverage consulting business and literally grew up in the brewing industry. His family owned the Latrobe (PA) Brewing Company from 1933 to 1985 - the 'original home' of Rolling Rock beer, where he became familiar with beer production from a very young age. An alumnus of the Siebel Institute of Technology, he obtained his Brewmaster Diploma and his BS in Economics from West Virginia University. His brewing career has taken him all over the world in several different capacities. While with the Heineken group, he entered as a senior support consultant based in Zouterwoude in the Netherlands before becoming the brewery manager for The Kinshasa Brewery of Bralima in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and later as supply chain director for Heineken N.V. on the island of St. Lucia.
Jeff has also worked at many other breweries, including: Miller Brewing Company in Eden, North Carolina; MillerCoors Brewing in Albany, GA, where he assumed the role of brewing department manager after fulfilling the packaging department manager role; D.G. Yuengling in Pottsville, Pennsylvania; Pittsburgh Brewing Company in Pittsburgh, PA, and The Stroh Brewing Company in Allentown, PA; and gained further beverage production experience while working for the Coca-Cola Company in Twinsburg, OH, and also acted as the president and director of operations at Park City Brewery in Park City, Utah, and was vice president of operations at Downcast Cider in Boston, MA.
Jeff has been a devoted and long-time Master Brewers Association of Americas (MBAA) member and has served in various capacities and on several technical committees.
